Lava Z61 Pro, Lava A5, and Lava A9 have got ‘ProudlyIndian’ Special Edition to commemorate the 74th Independence Day in India. These new phones with limited editions differ only in appearance. All three phones are similar to the standard edition in terms of specification. The rear of the new edition features an Indian tricolor-inspired design as well as a #ProudlyIndian logo. Of these, the Lava Z61 Pro launched in July 2020 has been introduced with the Champagne Gold color and #ProudlyIndian logo, while the other two phones come with a tricolor back panel. The company says that all three models will soon be available for purchase through outlets and e-commerce platforms.
Lava Z61 Pro, Lava A5, Lava A9: Price in India
The 2GB + 16GB variant of the Lava Z61 Pro is priced at Rs 5,777 and comes in a Champagne Gold color and has a #ProudlyIndian logo. It was originally launched in early July in two color options, including Amber Red and Midnight Blue.
At the same time, Lava A5 and Lava A9 phones got a tricolor back panel. The Lava A5 is priced at Rs 1,333, while the Lava A9 is priced at Rs 1,574.
Lava says that all three phones will soon be available for purchase through e-commerce platforms such as Flipkart and offline retailers.
Lava Z61 Pro specifications
Dual-SIM Lava Z61 Pro has a 5.45-inch HD + display. There are wide borders at the top and bottom. The aspect ratio of the phone is 18: 9. The phone has 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage with a 1.6 GHz octa-core processor. MicroSD up to 128 GB can be used if required.
The Lava Z61 Pro has an 8-megapixel rear camera. There is a 5-megapixel camera on the front. This selfie camera is hidden in the top bezel. Camera features include Portrait Mode, Bokeh, Burst Mode, Panorama, Filters, Beauty Mode, HDR, and Night Mode.
The Lava Z61 Pro battery is 3,100 mAh. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, GPS, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. The Lava Z61 Pro has no fingerprint sensor. But it has face unlock for security.

Lava A5 Specifications
The dual-sim Lava A5 has a 2.4-inch QVGA (240×320 pixels) display and a single 0.3-megapixel camera on the back. The device’s storage can be expanded up to 32 GB. It comes with Bluetooth connectivity and a 1,000 mAh battery and the company claims that it can last up to three days on a single charge. The phone comes with 123x51x12.85 millimeter dimensions.
Lava A9 Specifications
The dual-sim Lava A9 feature phone has a 2.8-inch QVGA (240×320 pixels) display and a 1.3-megapixel camera at the back. You get the option to increase storage up to 32 GB, features like Bluetooth connectivity, FM radio and 3.5mm headphone jack. The Lava A9 includes a 1,700 mAh battery and the company claims that it can last up to six days on a single charge. The phone comes with 131×56.9×12 millimeter dimensions.
