South Korean electronics company Samsung has launched its world’s first Quantum Encryption Technology-enabled smartphone Samsung Galaxy A Quantum” in collaboration with South Korean telecom (SKT). This smartphone will come with a quantum random number generator which will result in high-end security of the smartphone. Besides this special security feature, this phone will work on the Exynos processor and will come with the quad rear camera setup. Currently, this smartphone is available in South Korea only. The pre-sale of this smartphone has started from 15th May and continue it 21st May. This smartphone will be available from the 22nd of May. The price of this smartphone will be around 640,000 South Korean won or Rs. 39,000.
Quantum Encryption Technology of “Samsung Galaxy A Quantum” smartphone:
Talking about the special feature of this smartphone is the world’s smallest quantum random number generator chipset, SKT IDQ S2Q000 which is designed by the South Korea Telecom. This chipset is work on the quantum crypto technology and this generates the series of the unpredictable and pattern less pure random numbers. This chipset is 2.5mm wide and consists of CMOS image sensors and LED light sources. This CMOS image sensor is used to detect the random light patterns which are generated by the LED light source and result in unpredictable random numbers or encryption key for a specific application. This secure encryption keys can’t be predicted and it enhances the security of the smartphone.
The security is available for the payment services, such as SK pay and login into certain applications. This technology will also secure personal information by using a highly secure and unpredictable encryption key. This smartphone will feature different security options such as double login, SK pay biometric authentication.

Specifications of “Samsung Galaxy A Quantum” smartphone:
The smartphone will come with 6.7 inches full HD+ AMOLED display with resolution 1800×2400. This smartphone will also feature a quad rear camera setup. The primary camera of the smartphone is 64 megapixels with f/1.8 aperture size and the secondary ultra-wide camera is of 12 megapixels with f/2.2 aperture size and 123 degrees filed view. The tertiary macro camera of this smartphone is of 5 megapixels with f/2.4 aperture size and a quaternary depth camera is of 5 megapixels with f/2.2 aperture size. The front or selfie camera of this smartphone is of 32 megapixels with f/2.2 aperture. This smartphone will work on the octa-core Exynos 980 processor and Android 10.
This smartphone will come in a single storage variant with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. This smartphone is powered by 4500 mAh battery which will support 25-watt fast charging. This smartphone will also have different connectivity features such as Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5 mm audio jack, Wi-Fi, USB Type-C, in-display fingerprint sensor. This smartphone will support the 5G network.
