Samsung recently unveiled its newest flagship model. It belongs to the Galaxy Z Fold and Flip series made by the firm. Fold 4 and Flip 4 were introduced by the company. Both smartphones were introduced as the respective successors of the Fold 3 and Flip 3. Let’s learn more about the features and other information of each smartphone.

Pricing and availability first:

The costs of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 in India have not yet been disclosed by Samsung. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 price tags are anticipated in India prior to its market debut. The starting pricing for the two phones in the US are, respectively, $999 and $1799.99. These costs equal approximately Rs 79,500 and Rs 1,43,300 in Indian Rupee. However, a source from IANS claims that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will cost Rs 90,000, while the Galaxy Z Fold 4 would cost Rs 1.55 lakh.

The colours Graygreen, Beige, and Phantom Black are all offered for the Samsung smartphone. Additionally, the gadget is also available in Burgundy, but only through Samsung.com.

  • The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is the first device to run Android 12L, a special variant of Android created by Google expressly for experiences on large screens, which is based on One UI 4.1.1.
  • A 7.6-inch dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex Display serves as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4’s primary display. The smartphone also boasts a QXGA+ resolution and a 21.6:18 aspect ratio. This device can support refresh rates of up to 120Hz and has an LTPO display. The phone’s 6.2-inch HD+ dynamic AMOLED 2X Display, which can refresh at up to 120Hz, serves as the cover display.
  • This gadget contains 12GB of RAM and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
  • Samsung claims that for structural durability, this smartphone has an armour aluminium frame and hinge cover. It provides dual Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection on the front and back.
  • There are five cameras on this Samsung smartphone for optics: one on the cover display, one underneath the main screen, and the other three on the back. The three rear cameras’ standout features include a 50 MP sensor, an f/1.8 aperture lens, dual-pixel autofocus, optical image stabilisation, and an 85 degree field of view. In addition, a 12 MP secondary camera with a 123-degree field of view and an ultra-wide lens is supported. A telephoto lens and a 10 MP sensor make up the third lens.
  • Connectivity features on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 include 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, and a USB Type-C charging connection.
  • Two 4,400mAh batteries within the phone are charged using a 25W charger.

Specifications of Galaxy Z Flip 4:

  • The phone is 187 grammes in weight and runs on Android 12L based on One UI 4.1.1.
  • The Galaxy Z Flip 4’s 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X outer screen offers a variable refresh rate of 120Hz (1-120Hz). This is the main screen that folds inside. It also has a tiny secondary 1.9-inch Super AMOLED screen for use when the phone is folded into a clamshell configuration.
  • The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset also powers the Flip 4, which has 8GB of RAM and three storage options: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.
  • A 12MP main camera with OIS and a second 12MP ultrawide camera with a 123-degree field of view make up the dual camera arrangement on the back of the phone. A 10MP front camera is available for taking selfies and making video calls.
  • A 3,700mAh battery is there, and both 25W wired and Qi wireless charging are supported.
  • An IPX8 certification is offered with protection of Gorilla glass victus+ safety.
  • A side-mounted capacitive fingerprint sensor, and support for Bluetooth 5.2 and WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax are some other features.
