Facebook has rolled out its photo transfer tool globally. The new tool allows Facebook users to transfer photos and videos directly to Google Photo. The process of shifting photos directly from Facebook to Google is quite simple. The company initially introduced this feature in the US and Canada. The company announced the data transfer project in December last year. Facebook users will be able to use this new tool on desktop and mobile apps.

How to use Facebook new feature

Facebook users have to change the setting to use the photo transfer tool. Users have to search ‘Your Facebook Information‘ by going to the setting section. In it, you will see ‘Transfer’ a copy of your photos or videos. After selecting this, the app will ask you for the Facebook account password for verification. After verification, users will be able to google the photo from the dropdown menu. After receiving the transfer confirmation, users will have to complete the Google Photo password process. Once the transfer is complete, users will get a notification. This notification will be available through Facebook as well as email.

Facebook has partnered with Google Photos. The company will soon add several new partners to this plan. In fact, the company was launched with the intention of providing an open-source platform to the users under the Data Transfer Project, so that users can transfer their data between online service providers. This project provides an open-source library. Let us know that recently a new feature has been announced by Facebook, which will give users the option to delete their old posts in bulk.  It means now users won’t have to delete each post.

The company announced that it will update the ‘Manage Activity’ feature soon. With the help of this, users will be able to delete old photos, which were once posted. But, now those posts mean nothing to us. But year after year Facebook keeps reminding old posts. Now we can get rid of this trouble soon.
