The Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has launched three smartphones of its premium Reno series. These smartphones are Reno 7 5G, Reno 7 Pro 5G and Reno 7 SE. These three smartphones might hit the Indian market in the first quarter of 2022. The phones have been introduced with a triple rear camera setup. Oppo Reno 7 and Oppo Reno 7 Pro will be made available for sale on December 3 and Oppo Reno 7 SE on December 17. Let’s have a closer look at these phones.
Specifications:
Oppo Reno 7 5G
- A 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 90Hz refresh rate has been given in Oppo Reno 7.
- The phone has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC with 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM. It has up to 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage.
- Reno 7 comes with a triple rear camera setup that houses a 64-megapixel primary sensor, along with an 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. For selfies, the phone has a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 selfie camera sensor at the front.
- For connectivity, it includes 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
- If we talk about sensors, it has an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor and in-display fingerprint sensor.
- The phone is powered by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 60W Flash Charge fast charging.
Oppo Reno 7 SE 5G
- It houses a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
- For performance, it has an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900, coupled with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM. The phone is equipped with UFS 2.2 storage type.
- For capturing memories, it comes with a triple rear camera setup that has a 48-megapixel Sony IMX581 primary sensor along with a 2-megapixel macro shooter and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, it offers a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 selfie camera sensor.

Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G
- Pro version features a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
- Reno 7 pro is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The phone comes with UFS 3.1 storage of up to 256GB.
- The phone comes with a triple rear camera setup that has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens, along with a wide-angle shooter and a 2-megapixel macro shooter.
- For Connectivity, it houses 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
- The phone has multiple Sensors including an ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor and in-display fingerprint sensor.
- For powering the device it has a 4,500mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.
Pricing:
The price of Oppo Reno 7 5G has been kept at 2,699 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs 31,500) for the 128GB variant. It also comes in 8GB+256GB storage option, which is priced at CNY Chinese Yuan ( Rs 35,000). Whereas the top model 12GB+256GB storage priced at 3,299 Chinese Yuan ( Rs 38,500).
The Oppo Reno 7 SE 5G is priced at 2,199 Chinese Yuan ( Rs 25,700) for the 128GB variant and 2,399 Chinese Yuan ( Rs 28,000) for the 256GB model.
The price of Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G starts at 3,699 Chinese Yuan ( Rs 43,200) for the 8GB. For 12 GB RAM option of the phone the price is 3,999 Chinese Yuan ( Rs 46,700).
