A few months back, Jio had announced its cheap 4G phone Jio Next phone. Now the news of a new low-budget Jio laptop is stirring the market. All Jio apps will be pre-installed on the laptop and it is also being said that it will support 4G LTE. Earlier in the year 2008, a report said that Jio is working in the laptop segment. It will be interesting to see whether  Jio will be able to beat other competitors in the market just as it did in the telecom sector. This Jiobook is expected to reach out to customers who are looking for budget-friendly computing devices.

Partnership with Chinese company

Jio has partnered with Chinese manufacturer Bluebank Communication Technology for JioBook. This company is already making JioPhone models in its factory.

According to XDA Developers, it has gathered information from internal documents that the development of JioBook started in early September last year. A picture has also been shared with it, which tells how the laptop will look after it is completely ready.
