The operation life expectancy, is in simple terms a measure of how long the laptop will function properly. It looks at how long the laptop will be able to run advanced programs available in the market and meet their system specifications. Technically, you could have a laptop that functions very well even after 10 years, but that isn’t going to be of much help with a lot of contemporary applications. Most programs might need high share of your CPU’s processing power, RAM, and graphics card in order to function properly. An older laptop simply might not be able to do that.
However, if your computing needs don’t require a high-performance laptop, then it shouldn’t be difficult for you to make your going smooth with an old laptop past the five-year average.
