by Shatakshi Gupta

Nothing, the startup founded by former OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei, has unveiled its second smartphone, the Nothing Phone 2. The Nothing Phone 2 is an upgrade to the Phone 1, which was launched in March 2023 and received rave reviews for its sleek design, innovative features and reasonable price. Now, the Phone 2 is available in India.

The Phone 2 aims to take the success of the Phone 1 to the next level by offering a larger and better display, a faster and more efficient processor, a dual camera setup with OIS, and a bigger battery with wireless and reverse wireless charging. The Phone 2 also runs on Android 13 and Nothing OS, which is a custom skin that offers a distinctive user interface and experience. Here, in the  article we will  discuss the detailed features, price, and availability of Nothing Phone 2.

Specifications of Nothing Phone 2:

Virtually the same ‘glyph’ lights as the Phone (1) are present on the rear of the Phone (2), which comes in a white or grey translucent design. However, there are now more distinct components, including the central light ring, which is now divided into six segments.

One of them contains 16 components, making it possible to use it as both a countdown timer and a display for other data. Nothing and Swedish House Mafia worked together to create sounds for a brand-new ringtone composer that allows you to set helpful things like keeping a light on when you receive a notification from a particular app or person.

The phone sports curved glass on the back and is a little bigger than before. There are several elements, including a crimson accent and some other minute changes. On a short glance you can hardly tell a difference from its predecessor.

The Nothing Phone 2 sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels and a pixel density of 394 ppi. The LTPO display supports a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The display is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass and has an Always On Display feature.

The display of the Nothing Phone 2 is one of its main attractions, as it offers a stunning visual experience with vivid colors, deep blacks, high contrast and smooth motion. The display of this smartphone offers a peak brightness of 1600 nits

The phone has a larger and better display, a faster and more efficient processor, a dual camera setup with OIS, a bigger battery with wireless and reverse wireless charging, and a distinctive user interface and experience. The phone also has a sleek design, innovative features and a reasonable price. The phone is a worthy upgrade to the Phone 1 and a strong contender in the smartphone market.

The Nothing Phone 2 is not perfect, however. The phone has a limited camera setup that lacks a zoom lens or a depth sensor, a single selfie camera that is not very impressive, and no headphone jack or microSD card slot. The phone also has some software bugs and glitches that need to be fixed. The phone may not appeal to everyone who prefers a more conventional or familiar smartphone experience.

Overall, the Nothing Phone 2 is a great smartphone that offers a lot of value for money. The phone is ideal for those who are looking for something different, something innovative, something nothing.
